The 3 macro friendly Ninja Creami Ice creams that I eat pretty much a pint of EVERY night and still stay within my 2100-2200 calorie deficit to get shredded over summer:
Oreo:
-360ml low fat/skimmed milk
-30g Cookies’n’Cream whey protein
-Pinch of salt
-1 Oreo cookie
299 Calories
29g Carbs | 6g Fat | 34g Protein
Biscoff:
-360ml low fat/skimmed milk
-30g Caramel biscuit whey protein
-Pinch of salt
-2 Biscoff cookies
320 Calories
33g Carbs | 6g Fat | 35g Protein
Vanilla Ice Cream:
-360ml low fat/skimmed milk
-30g Vanilla Cream whey protein
-Pinch of salt
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
250 Calories
24g Carbs | 3g Fat | 35g Protein
Method:
-I measure out all ingredients for 7 containers, apart from the mix-ins and use an immersion blender to wizz them all together then place them in the freezer so they are all prepped for the whole week.
-On the nights that I eat one I get it out the freezer to sit for 20 minutes, then spin it on ‘light ice cream’ setting.
-I scrape the sides down and make a hole in the middle to add the mix-in ingredients and re-spin it on ‘mix-in’ setting.
-Remove from machine and enjoy!
I use a brand of whey protein by Per4m, the flavour and thickness is perfect as they already have thickeners and flavours in. You can tailor these to fit your macros if you want more protein, higher fat milk or more/less mix-ins etc, but I feel this is a good balance between taste, macros and consistency for my current macro split.
When I run out of these flavours I will order 3 more different ones to rotate so I don’t get bored. I will most likely end up buying 7 flavours so I can have a different one every night, prepped and frozen every Sunday when I meal prep my other food, so I can pull them out and make them in 5 minutes each night of the week.
Cheers.
